Copy of Original 1826 Voyage of the Blonde Aquatint
The HMS Blonde in 1824 undertook an important voyage to the Pacific. She was used for harbor service from 1850 also known for transporting the bodies of King Kamehameha II and Queen Kamamalu who had died while trying to visit King George IV.
This aquatint (an intaglio printmaking technique) made from an engraved drawing by Rob Dampier who was part of the HMS crew titled "Fish Ponds At Honoruru, Oahu"
