“Mary Hannah Krout (1851-1927) was an American author. She was a famous newspaper reporter and a leading feminist of her day, who served as the Chicago Inter-Ocean’s staff correspondent in Hawaii during the revolution in 1893.” Her works include: Hawaii and a Revolution (1898) and A Looker on in London (1899) and this rarer work, The Memoirs of Berenice Pauahi Bishop.
